A Message From the Dean
Winter 2007
Welcome to the winter 2007 quarter! The start of the new year brings many of us to reprioritize and take steps towards making a better life. Whether
your resolution is to train for a career of your dreams, to learn something new or complete a master's degree, we help you reach your goals.
Starting in 2007, Cal State San Bernardino will have a new extension site close to the community we serve?a convenient learning center located in
downtown San Bernardino. This center will offer several personal and professional development seminars.
We also offer an array of programs online and at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus. Our convenient online programs are available in the areas such as
career and workforce training, continuing education for educators, ESL courses or math skills training.
The College of Extended Learning at the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus offers many of the same course offerings as the San Bernardino campus. This winter,
we are launching a construction management series and expanding our selection of business training partnership courses for select Coachella Valley
chambers of commerce. The Osher Institute at PDC is now offering classes also in La Quinta and Palm Springs.
I hope that you will continue to look to the College of Extended Learning for helping you meet your career training, continuing education and lifelong
learning goals.
Sincerely,

Dr. Jeet Joshee, Dean College of Extended Learning
