Conditional Admission to CSUSB

"Conditional Acceptance" is available to international students who meet all university entrance requirements except for the minimum English scores. CSUSB requires the following English scores for admission: undergraduates--TOEFL 500 (173 computer-based, 61 Internet-based) or IELTS 5.5; graduates--TOEFL 550 (213 computer-based, 79/80 Internet-based) or IELTS 6.0

PLEASE NOTE: While it is unfortunate that some universities are having difficulty in providing classes for international students, that is not the case at CSUSB. In fact, to assure that our international students obtain the needed classes, the university has taken the following steps:

• Changed the registration policy allowing international students to register prior to attending orientation (Last year, they could only
  register after attending orientation);
• New international students have until the of September 22, 2009, to pay for fees (Last year, they could register only after paying for fees which occurred during orientation.);
• The CSUSB International Center continues to provide support to any questions new/continuing international students may have regarding registration (by phone at +1-909-537-5193; in person at University Hall, Room 235; or by E-mail).
