Field Trips

Because of its central location, visiting local recreational and cultural facilities from California State University, San Bernardino is easy and convenient. Trips to places such as Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs, San Francisco, or Las Vegas are a comfortable traveling distance for any weekend.

For longer trips, international airports are located on nearby Ontario and in Los Angeles. Any local travel agency would be happy to help you plan your itinerary.

ACLP offers field trips to a variety of places in Southern California. ACLP considers American culture to be an important part of the students' learning experience and looks for ways to introduce students to it.

We encourage interaction with American students, and participation in CSUSB activities, including: dances, movies, concerts, lectures, theatre arts productions, art gallery exhibits, volleyball, basketball, and soccer games. Depending on the season, students also can take part in activities such as skiing, boating, fishing, surfing, horseback riding and camping in the mountains and valleys which surround CSUSB.
