TESOL Certificate

This certificate program is designed for individuals who have a bachelor’s degree and are interested in teaching English outside the U.S. Our comprehensive curriculum covers the following areas:

• Teaching methodology in speaking, listening, reading and writingLanguage development and acquisitionFundamentals of English grammarLinguistics for teachersInnovative approaches to teaching
• Practicum

This well-balanced program enables participants to gain an understanding of theoretical background and its practical application. This program is currently offered at the CSUSB Korea Center (Korea-USA Education Institute) in Seoul, Korea.

Times Media TESOL Programs

We also offer TESOL non-credit certificate programs with 120 hours of instruction through our partner, Times Media Co., Inc. in Korea. The programs include basic TESOL program and TESOL for Elementary Level Instruction. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive a CSUSB certificate with 4 extension units. Specially Designed Group Programs
