TESOL Certificate Program and Master of Arts in Education
With Concentration in TESOL

 

We invite you to obtain your master's degree through an American university by enrolling in this new, unique and innovative program.

This program offers the opportunity to earn either a TESOL certificate in just two quarters of study online or a Master of Arts in Education with a concentration in TESOL in 13 months by doing three quarters of study online and one summer session in the U.S.A. at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB).

 

KOREAN COHORT DETAILED SCHEDULE

Fall 2009
(October 8-December 21)

October 6th -- Register at Korus and meet the Dean of the CSUSB College of Extended Learning, Dr. Tatiana Karmanova; the CSUSB TESOL Program Administrator, Dr. Julie Ciancio; and the Reading in TESOL associate professor, Dr. Bonnie Pillar, and have all of your questions about the program answered. To be considered for the MA program, please bring your admissions materials:

  1. A certified copy of your undergraduate records and diploma from an accredited institution
    Proof of 2.5 or better GPA in the last 60 semester-units (or 90 quarter-units) attempted for the certificate program; proof of GPA of 3.0 for the M.A. program
    Official TOEFL score of 535 on the paper-based test for the certificate program; official TOEFL score of 550 on the paper-based test (213 computer-based, or 79/80 Internet-based (preferred), or official IELTS score of 6.0) for the M.A. program
    Statement of purpose
    Vitae
    Three letters of recommendation
  2. Bank statement proving financial responsibility
