TOEFL Requirements

The TOEFL requirement is waived if a student successfully completes Level 5 of the American Culture and Language Program (ACLP) for undergraduate admission or Level 6 for graduate admission.

TOEFL is required only for the University Study in USA program and is the same as the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) requirement.

CSUSB requires the following English scores for admission:

• Undergraduates: TOEFL 500 (173 for computer-based test; 61 for Internet-based test) or IELTS 5.5

• Graduates: TOEFL 550 (213 for computer-based test; 79/80 for Internet-based test) or IELTS 6.0
