Osher Lifelong Learning Institute

Mature adults can learn for the pure joy of it through the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute in the Coachella Valley.

The College of Extended Learning at California State University, San Bernardino invites you to join the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute. Take non-credit, university-level courses (with no grades, tests or homework) with other mature learners interested in an intellectual challenge.

Courses are offered each quarter at three locations--CSUSB's Palm Desert campus, the La Quinta Museum and the Palm Springs Art Museum. Choose from a wide array of subject areas including arts and humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

Osher Lifelong Learning Institutemembership fees are $135 per quarter. Members can take up to five courses each quarter that they are members of the Institute and can select classes offered at any of the three locations. Usually, courses are held during the day, once a week, for six weeks.

"Tell Friends, Bring Friends" Campaign and Weekly Memberships
Help us spread the word about the Osher Institute by telling your friends about Osher and bringing your friends to Osher classes. We now offer Weekly Memberships for $20 which allow students to attend up to five Osher classes in one week. Weekly Memberships are a great way for people to attend a limited number of weeks of classes without having to pay for an entire quarterly membership--perfect for people visiting the Coachella Valley for a few weeks or for people curious about the programs we offer. Weekly Memberships are also fully convertible into regular Osher memberships.

Since we are required by university policy to maintain accurate attendance records, please make arrangements for Weekly Memberships in advance by calling (760) 341-2883, ext. 78121.

	The Bernard Osher Foundation was established in 1977 to support a wide range of educational and cultural activities. The Foundation recently provided funding to create Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes at 120 universities in 49 states in an effort to create institutes throughout the United States.
