Professional Development: Education
The College of Extended Learning has a wide selection of professional development courses and certificate programs for educators of all grade levels
and subject areas. All programs and courses offer practical skills and relevant knowledge that can be applied immediately to the classroom.
Many of the programs and courses have been designed in cooperation with local county offices of education and teaches to the California State Content
Standards and to the No Child Left Behind Act. Classes are conveniently held on weekends and online and can be taken individually or towards earning
a certificate. Choose from courses and programs in the following areas:
- School Business Management
- Primary Reading Development
- Reading/Writing/Literature
- Science/Mathematics
- Online Technology Integration
- Arts and Crafts
- Learning /Teaching Strategies
- Test Preparation (RICA, CBEST, U.S. Constitution Exam)
